Security Operations Center Architect — Ontario Tech University

Created detailed documentation to align with NIST, CIS, and PCI DSS standards, enhancing compliance and reducing security risks. Deployed and managed a Windows 7 VM inside the SOC for log monitoring and cybersecurity training exercises. Onboarded logs into FortiAnalyzer (FAZ) for analysis and troubleshooting, resolving technical issues in real time. Collaborated with the City of Oshawa’s CTO to present SOC requirements and proposed integration strategies for future deployments.

Information Technology Intern — Toronto Police Service

Configured and deployed over 10 Cisco switches and routers across 5+ police divisions, strengthening infrastructure reliability. Consolidated data from 8+ Excel sheets to support the migration to a centralized CMDB, improving asset tracking and efficiency. Verified and documented more than 250 Cisco components across 100+ devices, ensuring accurate records for auditing. Conducted Cisco Smart Licensing audits across 17 divisions, identifying upcoming license expirations and preparing renewal reports to maintain operational readiness.

Advanced Networking I Case Study — Ontario Tech University

Designed and deployed a simulated enterprise-grade network integrating BGP with dedicated WAN links for high availability. Implemented dynamic routing protocols including OSPF and EIGRP, along with dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 addressing. Built a hierarchical subnetting scheme for efficient IP management. Engineered a multi-campus topology using MPLS with DMVPN backup links, ensuring both security and redundancy in communications.

Advanced Networking II Case Study — Ontario Tech University

Configured VLANs, trunk ports, and spanning-tree protocols for optimized LAN performance and redundancy. Deployed HSRP for gateway resiliency across routers and implemented DMVPN Phase 3 with IPsec encryption for secure, scalable site-to-site connectivity. Demonstrated advanced enterprise network engineering skills by integrating security, redundancy, and optimization in a multi-site environment.
